Cupcake Birthday....

This card was made with the Sprinkles of Life stamp set, and the birthday wishes saying is from the Build a Birthday stamp set. The colors that were used in the card were Tempting Turquoise, Watermelon Wonder, Daffodil Delight, Sahara Sand, and Whisper White.

Card Measurements:
Tempting Turquoise                                         5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (you will need two of these so just cut one sheet of standard card stock in half and then score at 4 1/4" and 2 1/8")
Outside Watermelon Wonder Mattes                2" x 5 1/4" (you will need two of these also)
DSP                                                                   1 3/4" x 4 1/2" (you will need two of these also, I used paper out of one of the banner kits I bought)
Outside Tempting Turquoise Matte                  3" x 3"
Outside Whisper White Matte                           2 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Paper:
Tempting Turquoise, Watermelon Wonder, DSP, Daffodil Delight (used for the cupcake bottom) and Whisper White

Ink:
Tempting Turquoise, Watermelon Wonder, Daffodil Delight (used for the cupcake bottom), and Sahara Sand

Stamp Sets:
Sprinkles of Life, Build a Birthday

Punches:
Sprinkles of Life punch

Embellishments:
Ribbon

** When you have your two pieces folded for the back piece just attach one of the larger cards to the front of the other and that will attach the two pieces and make it one card.

** When attaching the smaller matte to the front of the card, first warp the ribbon around the card and tie a knot, once you have done that and have the ribbon where you want it place 1 dimensional above the ribbon, 1 dimensional on the ribbon and one dimensional below the ribbon. Only attach the matte on the one side. I also attached the cupcake with dimensionals.

Hello Autumn.....

I really enjoyed making this card. I was surprised how simple it was to make. I used the stamp set Sheltering Tree and the saying from the Cheer All Year set. The colors that I used were Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Sahara Sand, Whisper White and Early Espresso. I am going to try a new way of inputting the directions so it will hopefully will be easier to understand :)

Card Measurements:
Rich Razzleberry                              4" x 11" (then score at 4", 5 1/2", and 7")
Pumpkin Pie Matte                           3 3/4" x 3 3/4"  (you need 2 of this size)
Large Whisper White Matte             3 1/2" x 3 1/2"  (you need 2 of this size)
Old Olive Matte                                3 1/4" x 1"
Small Whisper White Matte             3" x  3/4"

Paper:
Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, and Whisper White

Ink:
Pumpkin Pie (tree leaves & Hello Autumn), Old Olive (grass stamp), Sahara Sand (tree), Early Espresso (swing)

Stamp Sets:
Sheltering Tree, Cheer All Year

Embellishments:
Jewels Basic Rhinestones

** For the grass I did two layers. I started the row up higher first then I thought that looked weird with the bottom of the white card with nothing on it so I went ahead and added another layer of the grass stamp so it filled out the whole bottom of the card.

** Also make sure to use the bone folder on the scores, if not the card will not stay back for the easel look. Once you put a banner or anything at the bottom of the card it hold the top in place where you want it to be.

Fun Folded Brithday Cake.....

  • For the card base, start with a piece of 7" x 5-1/2"  card stock.  Score at 4-1/4 ". Adhere a piece of 2-1/2"  x 5-1/4"  design paper to the front flap. For my card I used Mint Macaron card stock and a design paper from Michael's
  • Make a smaller card of 7" x 4-3/4" card stock and score it at 3 1/2" to make a smaller card. I also used the Mint Macaron for this smaller card
  • Cut out two pieces of matte for the smaller card inside and outside flaps. The size should be 3 1/4" x 4 1/2". I used whisper white for these.
  • Then Adhere the smaller card to the card base. Make sure before you adhere it that it looks centered on the front.
  • I then used one of the whisper white card mattes and used the stamp set Build a Birthday and made a cake using the ink: Tip Top Taupe, Perfect Plum, Watermelon Wonder, and for the candle top I used Daffodil Delight. Everything but the base of the cake was stamped on scrap paper then I cut them pieces out and attached them with dimensionals. The base and wording is stamped directly onto the matte. Then I used a punch to make the boarder on the top that was just cut from the 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" matte.

Birthday Cake Card.....

This card is from the Build a Birthday set. The color scheme that I used is Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macaron, Perfect Plum, and Rose Red. This is a standard size card of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", with the card being Taupe paper.

The Mint Macaron matte is 4" x 5 1/4", then the whisper white is 3 3/4"  x 5" and was embossed with the stylish stripes embossing folder. Both matte's are attached to the Taupe paper with standard adhesive. I then used whisper white paper scraps and stamped the cake onto the scraps, then cut them out and placed them on the white matte with dimensionals. The top "flags/banner" are stamped directly onto the matte along with "Birthday Wishes". I then added bling to the cake holder and the "flags/banner" using the jewels basic rhinestones. I also layered the same mattes of Mint Macaron and Whisper White on the inside of the card.

Birthday Candles....

This card is from the stamp set Build a Birthday. The color scheme that I used was Watermelon Wonder, Tangerine Tango, Cucumber Crush, and Crushed Curry. This is a standard size card of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" made with Watermelon Wonder paper.

The first matte of Cucumber Crush is 5 1/4" x 4" then the whisper white matte is 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and is placed on the Cucumber Crush paper with dimensionals, and the whisper white matte with the writing is a scrap piece then I just stamped the wording on it and left a lip that I adhered to the back of the bigger whisper white matte so it would stick to it. The length is 2 1/4".

I then used another piece of whisper white paper and stamped all the candles on to it and then cut them out. I used dimensionals to attach the candles to the white matte. I then used Crushed Curry to stamp the flames onto the white matte. The biggest candle I had to stamp onto scrap paper and cut out and that is attached with standard adhesive.

Ice cream anyone????

This card was made with the stamp set Sprinkles of Life. The paper scheme that I used was Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, and Whisper White. This is a standard size card of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".

The first matte of melon mambo is 5 1/4" x 4" ,the larger white matte is 5" x 3 3/4" and is embossed with the decorative dots embossing folder.

The smaller matte for the pumpkin pie is 3" x 1 1/2", the melon mambo is 2 3/4" x 1 1/4", and the white is 2 1/2" x 1". Then I stamped the saying in pumpkin pie.

The ice cream cone is made of one "scoop" on pumpkin pie paper with pumpkin pie ink, one "scoop" on melon mambo stamped with pumpkin pie ink and then the last "scoop" is on whisper white with pumpkin pie ink. The "cherry" is on pumpkin pie paper and pumpkin pie ink. I punched them all out with the corresponding punch. The the cone is stamped in Basic Gray. I did hand cut that out. The small matte has dimensionals and then the cone has dimensionals on the "scoop" parts and then the cone is just on the small matte with adhesive. I also used the candle stamp to make a design on the inside with a pattern of pumpkin pie and melon mambo.

Stamp Club Cards....

These are the cards that we made in Stamp Club tonight. If you need the instructions contact me and I can get them too you. I think the Santa card is my favorite of the three. You really can make anything you think up in your head on a card. I love the holiday's!

Birthday Wishes...

This card is done using the with the stamp set Fabulous Florets and the saying is from Four You. The paper scheme that was used is Melon Mambo and Whisper White. The stamping was done with Memento black stamp pad. This is a standard size card folded length wise so the dimensions are 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

The whisper white paper is 4 1/4" X 3 1/4". I just used the one stamp and made the row of flowers the the ribbon is 4 1/4" and it just a ribbon that I got from Michael's. The Birthday Wishes is a stamp from Four You.

I thought this was a nice card, and would be something simple to make if you are in a hurry or just beginning since you need to practice stamping the flowers like that to make it look OK.

This card is done with the Guys Greetings Stampin' Up Set, the paper scheme is Pacific Point and Whisper White. The ink used is Sahara Sand and Basic Gray. This is a standard size card but it is cut length wise so it its 4 1/4" x 5 1/2.

The biggest matte of whisper white is 4" x 5 1/4". I stamped the tools over the whole paper in Sahara Sand. The matte with the tools on it has mattes of  2 1/4" x 2 1/4" for the pacific point and then the whisper white is 2"x 2". Then these tools are stamped on with Basic Gray and put onto the card with dimensionals. The last matte with the wording is 1 1/4" x  2 1/2" for the pacific point and then the whisper white is 1" x 2 1/4" and the words are stamped with Basic Gray and attached with dimensionals also.

To A Classic.... Guy Greetings

This card I made for my Grandpa. It is the stamp set Guy Greetings. I also used Basic Black and Real Red paper, with the Memento black stamp pad and the diamond paper at the bottom is from a set that I got at Michael's, along with the ribbon and cream colored paper.

This card is the standard size of card just made length wise. The top real red matte is 2 3/4" x 4" and the diamond paper has the same measurements. I used the hat stamps from the Guy Greetings to stamp the real red paper completely then I adhered the two matte to the back Basic Black card with the real red on top of the diamond paper. Then I placed the ribbon that was 4" in length on the seam of the papers and attached the ribbon with glue dots.

The cream colored matte is 3" x 3 3/4". I stamped "to a classic" and "happy birthday grandpa" on the actual cream paper that is attached then I stamped the car onto another piece of paper and cut it out then attached it with dimensionals. Then I attached that to the card with standard adhesive.

Your My Anchor

This card is from the Guy Greetings stamp set. I used the scheme of Pacific Point and Whisper White. It is a standard size card of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". The first matte of white is 5 1/4" x 4", then the third matte of pacific point is 5" x 3 3/4". They are all attached together with standard adhesive.

The ribbons are made from the banners that came in the kit Chalk Board Banners Simply Created. The farthest to the left banner is 3" x 1", the second banner is 2" x 1", and the third banner is 1" x 1". I just spaced them out by the designs on the paper.

Then the anchor and wording is stamped in pacific point and I used a punch for the anchor and attached with dimensionals. The words are on a 3/4" x 2" whisper white paper.

Fabulous Florets Card

This card is a standard size card. I used the stamp set Fabulous Florets, and the saying is from the set Simply Wonderful. I have used the paper scheme of Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White. This is the standard size card of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".

The first matte of whisper white is embossed with the chevron embossing folder, using the Bigshot. The size is 5 1/4" x 4".

Then the next matte set is rich razzleberry and it is 3 1/2" x 3" and the white is 3 1/4" x 2 3/4", it is attached with dimensionals. Then the last and smallest matte of rich razzleberry is 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" and the white is 2 1/4" x 1". As you can see the mattes are always 1/4" smaller than the larger one :)

I then stamped the flowers with rich razzleberry and the leaves with old olive. Since I do not have the die cuts for this set I actually cut them out free hand. The flower is just attached with adhesive to the leaves and then they are attached to the matte with dimensionals. Then I stamped "your the best" using the Simply Wonderful set and that is also attached with dimensionals.

This was my first all Stampin' Up cards and I have to say that the materials are a lot better than some of the things that I have bought from other craft/hobby stores.

Awesome Technique....

This card I made in my monthly meeting with my fellow demonstrators. I am not sure what paper she used but the stamp set is the Lighthearted Leaves. It is a standard size card. and the black outside matte is 5 1/4" x 4. The light brown matte is 5" x 3 3/4". The stamps were on there with the embossing and heating. When we first started essembling the card there was no yellow in the flowers or leaves. What we did was put bleach in the aqua painters. Then I went in and colored in where I wanted the bleach to turn the paper yellow. I thought that was the neatest thing. I cant wait to try that again on a different color paper and see what color it turns. Then the brown ribbon is 4 1/2" x 1" and i hand cut the triangle shape. The yellow ribbon is 3 3/4" x 1/2" and I hand cut that triangle also. The leave on top was cut out using the bigshot and die. It was also embossed and bleached. There are so many things you can do. I will always share anything new that I can.

Paperpumkin Project...

When I signed up to be a demonstrator they sent me a Paper Pumpkin. This is awesome if you do not want to have to do it all yourself. This is a monthly package that comes in the mail right to you with everything that you need. The stamps, ink, paper and instructions are all included in the package. They change every month. This was so fun to make and I think they turned out so good. For some of the cards I used a stamp set that did not come with the package and colored them in, that stamp set was I like you. If this is something that you like be sure to check out my Stampin' up page to get more information or order :)

Classic Car Card......

This was used as a birthday card. The stamp was a part of the  photopolymer ones that I got at Michael's. The card is standard size and is a cream colored paper. The large matte was a brownish paper and is 5 1/4" x 4. Then I used scrapping paper for the small squares which are 2 1/4" x 1 3/4". They are just on top of the brown matte. Then the brown matte behind the car is 3" x 2 1/4". Then the car is stamped in a 2 3/4" x 2" cream colored paper. This has been my favorite card that I have made yet.

Elk Card.....

This was a birthday card. It is a standard size card. The color was also a cream colored card stock. The dark matte is a brownish card stock and is 3" x 3 1/4", the elk is on the same cream colored paper as the card and is a matte of 3" x 2 3/4". Then the back ribbon is a piece of scrapping paper and it is 5 1/2" x 2 1/4". Since I do not have a punch yet I just cut the triangles out by hand.

Classic Truck Card....

This was used for a birthday card. This card is the standard size with a matte of 5 /14" x 4". I used a cream colored card stock and then used scrapping wood grain paper as the matte. The stamps are from Michael's. The came is a set of photopolymer. I just stamped the truck and saying on the same cream colored paper that I used for the card and then just hand cut them out. I used a ribbon and paper ribbon for the bow secured with glue dots. I learned after I did it, that it is not a good idea to do a glue dot on a bow when you do not put something over it so if you do something like this try a different adhesive for the bow :)

My First Birthday Card and Wedding Card....

The birthday card I made for one of my Aunts that loves butterfly's. I did use a Stampin' up set but the paper and ink was not. I used the stamp sets Simple Stripes and Flight of the Butterfly. It is a standard size card with matte of 5 1/4" x 4" and I used a 2 1/4" flower punch and a 1 1/4" punch for the design behind the butterflies. I actually hand cut and folded the flowers then attached with dimensionals The inside is a matte of 5 1/4" x 4 also.

This wedding card was made for one of my cousins. It is a standard size card also. I used the stamp set To Have & To Hold. I used one of the stamps and just stamped the whole front of the card with it then I did 3 different size mattes and then colored in the Groom and flowers. I also used a stamp to make the to have and to hold and hand cut that out. The inside is the 5 1/4" x 4" matte.

First Card I made....

This is the first card that I made. It is the standard size card and I got the materials from Michael's and Hobby Lobby. The card is the standard size. The matte is 5 1/4" x 4". Then the yellow squares are 2" x 1 3/4". On the pumpkin square I actually stamped that on a white piece than cut out and use a dimensional and then just stamped trick or treat right onto the yellow part. For the other pumpkin I actually embossed that and used the heating gun. Then for the ribbon i cut a piece of chevron ribbon in half and it is 5 1/4" long and used glue dots to put on. Then I used another little piece of the chevron ribbon to go behind the paper string bow which is all attached with glue dots and then just put a star bead on top. Then the inside is just three different hobby lobby stamps.

The cards that started it all!

Well I guess I should post what I made the first time that I did stamping. These cards are what made me make crafting more than a random thing that I have done all my life. I am not going to be able to do it all the time. These cards were made by Lorri Heiling. She has now become someone that I can go to with any questions and she is full of ideas! Here are the cards that we made that night. If you would like the insturctions to make these cards please contact me by email or here and I can get them to you. The snowman card actually holds a gift card. :) My email is ash18lem@gmail.com
