Simple Craft Table

So I needed space to make crafts and doing it on the dining room table and floor were not cutting it anymore. I looked through Pinterest for ideas on what to do. So I saw a large crafting table for a large room and I tweaked what they had done. So this table is made from a door and two bookshelves. The door is a 32 in. x 80 in. Smooth Flush Hardboard Hollow Core Primed Composite Interior Door Slab from Home Depot. This cost $28 dollars and then I got two small bookshelves from Walmart for $15 a piece. So the total of the project was around $35 and I have a great sturdy craft table and have so so much room to do what I need to and the storage from the bookshelves is a big plus. I will hopefully get around to painting the door part soon.

HMMMM what to make my first post.....

Well I guess I should start my first blog ever introducing myself. Well I am Ashley Lemon, I am 26 years old and have lived my whole life in Arizona, besides a stint in Oregon (I hated not having the sun and I have a weird thing when rain hits me so OR was not the place for me), then I was in Charleston, SC for a little while while in the Coast Guard, now I am back in Arizona. I live in Anthem with Jesse (my implied fiance, just no ring yet lol) and our son, 8 month old Bryce and 2 kitties Sugar and Coco. I have always had a passion for crafting thanks to my Grandma Johnson (Mouthie). She has had me doing crafts with her for as long as I can remember. So I thank her for my love of crafts. I have ordered and ordered online crafts and finish them in one night when it should take weeks.

I just attended a Stampin' up class from the online app Meetup. I needed to get out of the house, being a stay at home mom is great but I think I would drive Jesse crazy when he got off work since I just had baby talk all day ha ha. After my first class I was so excited. I had never heard of Stamping before and let me tell you it was a blast. After I left that first class I went crazy researching it. I ended up making a large boo boo on Ebay. I was not aware that if you made an offer and they accepted it that you purchased it. So with that being said I ended up with 500+ stamps. So after I learned that I had to buy all of those I made Jesse stay up with me and make a homemade craft desk (he was so mad that I had him do it on a work night) but we finished it and I will post how I made that also. I have since then made a couple of cards that I will post which were my first cards that will not all be Stampin' Up but still some examples of what you can do with any materials.

I then attended a Stampin' up demonstrators meeting and I was sold from the get go. It was such a great group of ladies and I felt so welcome. So when I got home I signed up. I am now a demonstrator and I cant wait to start having classes and making all different cards that I will be able to share with you all. I may not be the greatest at spelling just an FYI but I will try my best and I will hope to get a lot of examples up so you can have some inspiration. I cant wait to inspire and meet new people along this journey.
